Abstract

Excerpts MEMORANDUM of the choice and appointment of new trustees of the Congregational Chapel situate in the parish of Covington in the county of Huntingdon at a meeting duly convened and held for that purpose at Dean on the tenth day of January 1939 (signed) Richard Harmstone, Chairman. Names and descriptions of all the Trustees on the constitution (or last appointment of trustees) made the tenth of November, 1914. Edward Ackroyd Milligan, Gentleman, died 18th April, 1921. Alfred George Carruthers of Bedford, Draper, died 21st Dec 1928 James Thomas Lowe of Bedford, Bookseller, died 6th July 1931 Thomas Brown of Dean, Farmer, died 23rd January 1934 John Phelps of Dean, Congregational minister, died 1st Oct 1934 Names and addresses of all the trustees in whom the said chapel and premises now become legally vested. 1st. Old continuing trustees None. 2nd New trustees now chosen and appointed Maxey Cox of Dean, Farmer Ernest Lilley of Dean, Tailor And William Herbert Tuffnail of Dean, Blacksmith (signed) Richard Harmstone (seal) Chairman of the said meeting. Signed, sealed, and delivered by this said Richard Harmstone, as Chairman of the said meeting, at and in the presence of the said meeting, on the day and year aforesaid, in the presence of Rhoda Ellen Bradley, Housewife, Upper Dean, Huntingdon. Sarah Ann Rawlings, Housewife, Upper Dean, Huntingdon. Dated 10th January, 1939 -------------------- Copy.
